//Clay Paky Stormy CC added to hire stock

Clay Paky Stormy CC - Concept Completion LLP

Today we took delivery of 38 Clay Paky Stormy CC RGBW LED strobe units. These feature 144 7watt Osram LEDs for a truly powerful 40,000 lumen output!

The parabolic reflector allows these fixtures to be used like a traditional strobe, whilst the onboard electronics allow complete control of the duration, intensity and frequency. In traditional strobe pulsed mode, the Stormy CCs only draw a very small 980watts of power, but should you wish you can also use these fixtures in a continuous mode for a solid light output using just 720watts.

//Hitchcock at the British Museum

Concept Completion had great pleasure in providing lighting equipment and crew for the BFI’s The Genius of Hitchcock screening of Blackmail at the British Museum.

We supplied and installed lighting around the site at the British Museum. This included wash lighting behind the iconic museum columns as well as the surrounding trees and colonnade. We also undertook the performance lighting for the orchestra as well as the power distribution for all departments involved with the event.

//Shoreditch festival 2011

Concept Completion worked closely with the producers of Shoreditch Festival. For this years festival, they went back to it roots, launching 4 stages along the canal side by Shoreditch High Street. With well known bands, such as The Whip, along with up and coming acts, the lighting on the main stage had to be cutting edge and work with many different styles and genres.

Fighting with the sun for most of the day, our lighting design had to keep this in mind whilst utilising the latest technology. The weekend was wet, as all summer weekends in the UK tend to be, but the festival went off without a hitch. Partially due to our equipments high waterproof rating along with thorough planning. A.C Entertainment Technology kindly loaned us two demo units of the GLP Volks|Licht Zoom for this job. We were so impressed by these we have recently purchased some for our expanding lighting hire stock.

//Amnesty International Student Conference

Concept Completion were pleased to help Amnesty International with their student conference this year. The event, being hosted in London, saw Concept Completion provide an all encompassing solution, which incorporated lighting, sound, video and staging.

The lighting design was carefully thought through and incorporated several of the key Amnesty International brand colours. This helped ensure the event maintained it’s branding throughout. Using visualisation software, we were able to see how the event would look before committing to a final design. This also enabled Amnesty International to see how their table layout would work within the venue.

Concept Completion provided two different types of sound system for the event. The main system comprising of D&B audiotechnik equipment for speech relay and background music. This was supplemented in the evenings with additional D&B audiotechnik equipment to provide extra clarity for the band and DJ acts.

Staging consisted of two separate stages at opposite ends of the two rooms. The main stage was also supplied with a sleek looking projection surface and black surround.

Concept Completion worked on one of our flagship events in 2010.
They provided a creative, positive and faultless service (far beyond what we expected for our budget) and turned a series of empty archways into a visually stunning event space and utilised our brand colours in the design. They managed the project impeccably and we were thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and ‘can do attitude’ by the team We will continue to use Concept Completion for our future events!
